A family history

Between the sea and the mountains, the Domaines de la Taste extend over 110 hectares in the eastern plain of Pianiccia. This exceptional Corsican terroir has been producing sun-drenched and vitamin-packed fruit for more than 60 years.
In 1964, Yves and Geneviève de la Taste planted vines and the first plots of clementines on what was then only maquis. When their son Bertrand joined the family property in 1984, the estates expanded by 30 hectares. With his father, he restructured the plots and diversified production by planting kiwi, grapefruit and new varieties of clementines, gradually abandoning the vine in favour of citrus fruits.
Today, the third generation takes over with Loïc, Anthony and Yoann, and the Domaines de la Taste practice 100% organic agriculture. Together, they have built a brand, a Made in Corsica quality label. Here, we work the land with love to create an exceptional estate where passion and high standards are combined.
This knowledge, passed down from father to son, has allowed the Domaines de la Taste to prosper and become a model of exploitation and a reference for quality.
Our commitments
Aware of the ecological challenges of our planet and the repercussions of food on our health, we have been committed since 2015 to completely transform our farm for 100% organic agricultural production. By implementing environmentally friendly production systems, we have significantly reduced our environmental impact while improving the nutritional quality of our fruit.

Our responsibility goes beyond product quality. We aim for better integration and development of our employees. Our employees are motivated and involved in their daily work through remuneration based on the sharing of results.
Quality monitoring
In the food sector, there is no room for error. Monitoring quality, both in the orchard and in the resort, is at the heart of our work. To guarantee the taste quality of our products, respect for the environment and food safety, we have invested in quality initiatives such as Certipaq or GLOBAL G.A.P certification, which demonstrate our commitment to:

Picking
Traditional know-how
Our fruit deserves special attention to preserve its aroma until the end consumer. As soon as they are picked, they are graded and then shipped, which maintains their original nutritional qualities.
A signature for 3 generations
The creation of our "Domaines de la Taste" brand and our direct marketing method to individuals have been accompanied by investments in modern equipment, to meet the new requirements of our customers. We make it a point of honour to adapt while preserving our family know-how.


Conditioning
Special care
In our station, we package and process more than 2,300 tons of fruit per year. Our team ensures that every product shipped meets the highest quality standards. Three successive human interventions optimise the sorting operation, thus guaranteeing the excellence of our fruit.
Traceability
Each intervention on our orchards (pruning, fertilization, etc.) is carefully recorded. When it enters the station, each fruit is identified with precise information (name of the producer, packing station, harvest date, size, weight, CE plant passport and traceability number). This ensures that you have fruit of impeccable quality, and the label on the packaging allows you to know the plot of origin and the harvest date.
